Join the Nantahala Hiking Club for one of their weekly Wednesday Work Hikes on
January 22, from 8:45 a.m. to 5 p.m. and spend the day performing essential trail maintenance tasks alongside experienced A.T. volunteers.

The day will include clearing out erosion control structures, cutting back any overgrown vegetation and fallen trees from the Trail, as well as enjoying a hike on the A.T.

Please be sure to wear long pants, and sturdy boots. Bring work gloves, plenty of water and snacks, a lunch, a rain jacket and weather-appropriate layers.
